It's true...

Holidays really are SO much better once you have kid(s)! Yes, I know that Jackson is only 3 months and has no idea what is even going on, but when he is older he can see the cute pictures and know that we really did care, ha ha! This is how our Christmas Holiday panned out...

DEC. 23, 2010

We spent this night with the Hyde family- it was such a fun night! We had dinner, a pinata with lots of candy, white elephant, then tried to do the manger scene with the 3 Hyde boys, but that didn't work out so well, but it'll be fun to see how it will progressively get better each year, then we did some Christmas songs on chimes, Gay read us our new Christmas book and read the nativity story from the scriptures. It really was way fun and I love the Hydes so much!

Me and Amy got way cute matching Christmas Pajama's for the boys, but Jackson had a HUGE blow out in his (typical Jackson, my boy can poooooop!). We thought it'd be a fun memory to remember so we took a picture while he was naked and his pj's were being cleaned off. ; )

I'm pretty sure this was meant for Dylan and McKay, but Andrew and Wes had a lot of fun with it...

Christmas Songs with the Chimes...

Each year Kyle and Gay give us a new Christmas Book, this year's book was Penny's Christmas Jar Miracle. It is a cute story you all should read. We also got a cute jar to fill throughout the year with our pennies to give to someone in need next Christmas- way cute idea!

DEC. 24, 2010

We did Christmas at our house with my cute little family. We got up and opened gifts with Jackson. He sure is spoiled! Santa got him a cute Aggie outfit, a nice space heater for his cold room (that mama might steal), some onesies that actually fit and lots of cute little toys and stuff that I am sure he would just die without- ha ha! Santa brought Andrew Black Ops, NBA 2K11, some DVD's, a way cute 49ers shirt, Jazz shirt... sports fan, or not? And a bunch of other crap he doesn't need. Santa brought me the Kim Kardashian perfume, dvd's, some much needed knee high socks, tanning lotion (why is tanning lotion so expensive, lame), cute purse and a bunch of other crap I don't need... AND the best of all Andrew got me he said I would get later on in the day... So, we cleaned everything up, got packed, fed the baby and were on our way to home sweet Sandy! So, we get in the car... we're talkin'... and, "Weird, my back feels really warm..."... we're talking... "Seriously, my back feels like my seats are like heated or something..." ...we're talking... "Holy Cow, my butt feels warm too..." And Andrew says, "MERRY CHRISTMAS, I GOT THE SEATS HEATED!!!" I was SO SO SO beyond happy! I really did almost cry! Hands down- best Christmas ever! I've never had a car with heated seats and I told Andrew that we'll never buy a car without heated seats again! He stole my car on Wednesday and got it done and I had no idea! He is SO sweet- his gift was so thoughtful!

Jackson in his new Bumbo from Grandma and Grandpa Hyde!

Our traditional picture in front of our tree... o wait, you can't see our tree, that's because our tree was about 3 feet tall because our couch is GINORMOUS and we don't have room for a big tree like the last few year, but next year, when Andrew is graduated and we live in a mansion we'll have a GINORMOUS tree... right?

Our 2010 Traditional Ornament... To bad this frame is so small and my face is SO FAT in this picture...

New tradition- handprint ornament of all my babies!(Sorry this pic won't turn!) Jackson has his daddy's hands- wide, big palms, short, thick fingers and a cricked pinky- I think it's cute!

That night we just hung out with my family, ate way too much food and had so much fun doing nothing. We always get Christmas pajamas and this year we decided to get Jazz pajamas cause we love the Jazz!
At my parent's house...

Could he be any cutter?!?

DEC. 25, 2010

We all got up and opened tons of presents like always. One of my parents gifts is always a trip. The last few trips we've gotten have been to Hawaii which is obviously the best trip ever, but we decided that it would be better to do that every other year and do somewhere new the other years. So, this year we are going to go on a church history tour back to Palmyra and stuff- I am SO excited!

Jackson madeout like a bandit this year- holy cow he got SO SO SO much! Grandma and Grandpa Hyde got him a Jumparoo, a Bumbo with a tray and lots of cute toys for the bath and to hang on his car seat. Grandma and Grandpa Siegfried got him the cutest little recliner that is brown and matches my couches at home, clothes, Disney movies and lots of little toys. Did I already mention that he is spoiled... spoiled rotten, but that is how it is supposed to be, right?

Jackson's cute little brown recliner that he will love for a long time I am sure of it!

Since we did those pctures for our parents early for Christmas, we wanted them to have something to open on Christmas Day so we made a cute photo book with the pictures in it with fun memories from each kid- they loved it!

We always have my dad's family over after we open our gifts on Christmas day for lunch so they came over and we, again, ate way too much and had lots of fun playing cards and talking all afternoon!

We really are so blessed to have such amazing families and hope that you all had an amazing Holiday Season too!!!

LOVE YA!

o.m.g.

WwWwWoOoOoWwWwW I CAN NOT BELIEVE MY BABY BOY IS 3 MONTHS OLD!!! It really is bittrsweet, but o how sweet it is. Jackson is seriously the best baby in the world- even when he is so tired cause he's missed a full nap he just sits there and hangs out, he doesn't fuss or cry hardly ever. He really only cries when he gets in his car seat- man alive does he hate that thing! Once he is in there and we pick it up and get moving he is usually ok, or if the car is moving he is good, but those Stop signs or red lights just abut kill us. How does he know when the car is not moving? He is SO smart! He can hold his bead up really pretty good and has rolled from tummy to back a few times, but won't do it again- good thing we got it on video! I LOVE LOVE LOVE being a mom and love watching my little nugget grow and develop each day. He is starting to talk SO much now and absolutely loves Andrew. He is constantly watching him and when Andrew says, "Hi Buddy!" Jackson gets the biggest smile and it makes me melt everytime because I want them to be bff. And, like father, like son- Jackson LOVES watching TV and will seriously about break his neck if I turn him away from it! It is really funny...

Here are our 3 month pictures!

1 Week Nugget!

1 Month Chunkie Nugget!

2 Month Chubby Nugget!

3 Month Huge Nugget!

And, because it is Christmas time I will give you all a few more pictures of my cute baby. (What did I blog about before Jackson was here???)

We took Jackson to see Santa- it was so much fun! Jackson just sat there and could have cared less that a big fat stranger with a snarly white beard longer than my hair was holding him- ha ha!

Santa's Little Elf- check out that muffin top!

Santa's Little Man- check out the scratch on his nose... poor guy! I hate cutting his nails because by the end of it I am sweating because it makes me so nervous I am going to cut the top of his finger off!

Giraffe Jackson- my mom got this adorable hat at the Farmer's Market- she is such a great grandma- he is SO spoiled having the best grandma's in the world!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT!!! LOVE YA!

Siegfried Family Pictures 2010

This year for Christmas the Siegfried kids (I will always be a Siegfried kid at heart- I LOVE my maiden name) decided to get family pictures done for our parents. We were going to get them done as a surprise, but decided that we wanted our parents in the pictures so we (Emily) made them a little gift certificate for Family Pictures and we gave it to them in November as an early Christmas picture so that they could be in them. We got them done by Kellee Smith from Moments By Kellee. She did my bridals and engagements, but was already booked for our wedding day, but she is by far the very best photographer out there! She really is so much fun to work with and I check her blog like it is my job- Thanks Kellee!

JACKSON UPDATE...

My baby rocks! That is pretty much all you need to know... He sleeps through the night, is weighing in at 13.7 pounds and is in the 75% for weight, but just the 10% for height and 10% for head which is really weird cause I do not feel like he has a little head. I think he is trying to really get into the holiday season and look like Santa- short and chubby, but O SO SO SO ADORABLE! I seriously can't imagine my life without this little guy!

Funny Funny Funny Story- - -

I was "talking" to Jackson and Andrew was sitting right there with us and I said, "Jackson, I might have to shove my boot up dad's butt!" cause Andrew and I were teasing each other and Jackson got the saddest look on his face and then started bawling!!! I seriously was laughing so hard I couldn't even comfort him! I am still laughing as I am typing this! HA HA HA!

LOVE YA!!!
